First To Bloom

It's that time, again, but it doesn't seem as if it's been a year. I believe they pass by faster; that, or we are closer to the sun.

More CS6

Photos can be just the beginning, and often are, with me. This was a self-portrait I made a little while ago and, using Photoshop CS6's oil paint filter.  I played around with the sliders to get a somewhat natural-looking oil portrait. As with most any shot I save, I began with a huge size, with high resolution, in case one would like to have prints made. I usually save them as 24" x 36", and you can always go down from there. (Staples can print up to that size from a file).

Another New Beginning

I love to watch the colors come up, as much as possible, each morning. You can usually tell what kind of day it will be just by the colors.

Red Dress

This is one of my best models; Sarah. We shot this session sometime around 'o4.

I used a little Minolta camera (DiMage 7Hi), two halogen work lights, a couple of diffusion panels and a muslin backdrop.
