Another Jaunt To Tennessee

Couldn't figure out if this was a church or a school. Maybe both. It is located close to Lewisburg, TN.

Here is the old Reece Church and cemetery. It is south of Columbia, TN. There are some really old graves and crypts behind it. Peering through the windows, I saw an old wood-burning stove. It was a throw-back to the old, old days.

Courtland Cruise In On The Square Antique & Classic Car Show 2014

Courtland, Alabama is an old town. It was incorporated on December 13, 1819 by the Alabama territorial legislature.  Every year, the town has the car show and nothing above an '83 model can be registered.
This past weekend it was held and Pam and I recorded it.

After years of obedient service and loyally following his kind, the old caboose sits forlornly on a side track; having been discontinued by man, he is awaiting a return call to duty that will never arrive.

More Tennessee Travels

Took another quick excursion to Tennessee over the weekend. The colors have just begun to show themselves, but we will be back soon. This old barn was on Chicken Creek Road, which is a loop-around off I-64 near Frankewing, TN.
