Will Never Forget

Not to remind but to remember the EF4s and 5s that ravaged the countryside almost a year ago. I'm reminded every time I walk out my backdoor. The world knows of Tuscaloosa, but it hit a lot closer to home for a lot of us. The little yellow flower reminds me that life goes on and that time is the great healer and the cedar stump tells me to never forget.

Purple Iris

The first one to bloom under the kitchen window.

Wild Cherry Blossoms

Just noticed these little blooms on the wild cherry tree in the back yard. Seems the pollenators knew it first.

Apple Blossoms

This may be the last year for this old tree; only about half of it has blossomed. We'll savor it while it lasts.

Bleeding Hearts

First bloomers in the bed. The mild winter has brought these little ones out early.

Sydney On The Prowl
